Subject: Bug#27948: inappropriate bg color when printing *only*
From: alane () geeksrus ! net
Date: 2001-07-01 2:43:50
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: khtml
Version: KDE 2.2.0 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc-2.96-RH7-88
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
See http://www.cuj.com/experts/1908/alexandr.htm for demonstration.
Print the web page.
This web page is rendered with a white background.
When the print dialog is OK'd, the text background momentarily changes to very dark \
forest green, which in turn results in black text on very dark gray printed output. \
As soon as the printing code finishes running, the page background color is restored \
to its normal value.
Attempting to use an "Accessibility" CSS to force black on white has no effect.
