The kernel module ?

Maybe because kdelibs didn't detect FAM, so it used the manual polling ?

Subject: no automatic actualization when file is created in xterm
From: jochen@puchalla-online.de

Package: konqueror
Version: 2.2alpha2 (using KDE 2.2.0 \6alpha2)
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.5
OS/Compiler notes:

For example I do a >testfile in an xterm, the file is created, but it does not \
automatically show up in the konqueror window. Same with a file bigger than 0 B. I \
have to push the reload button.

This used to be different (better ) :-)
