I'm not sure if that's a good idea at this point. If we export this
API for installation then we also have to keep binary compatibility
(otherwise we screw 3rdparty developers writing sidebar plugins) .
Looking at the interface I think we should wait another release to
see how stable it is (after all it is just a few weeks young) .
