As above, with icon highlighting enabled, when "Show hidden files" is first selected, all hidden files' (.*) icons appear at normal intensity (like normal files)

After the first mouse-over, they highlight, but do not return to normal when the pointer leaves the icon.

It's not clear whether the hidden files' icons are meant to be highlighted permanently like windows' Explorer, or if icon highlighting is not operating 
correctly.
