When running Konqueror over SSH on a network, many animated images are done so fast that virtually all the cpu is taken trying to display the images. Form elements on a page will lose characters that you type into them, and many links will take several clicks to finally work. I believe that KHTML should slow down animated GIFS when displaying over a network. Perhaps some sort of a frame-rate counter that estimates how fast you can reasonably display these images is in order? (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
