where's the bug? This is a feature. If you don't want the history in the 
sidebar, delete the .desktop file.

I can delete the "History" in
the left column of Konqueror (context menu of "History").

This deletes the history
desktop file (~/.kde2/share/apps/konqueror/dirtree/history.desktop), but not the \
history entries.

After that, it's difficult to restore the "History" in the left column. Currently, \
you have to copy a "history.desktop" file from another user to my home directory.
