Package: konqueror
Version: kde 2.1.1 + kdelibs 2.1.2 (using KDE 2.1.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from:    RedHat RPMs
Compiler:          glibc2.2
OS:                Linux
OS/Compiler notes: kernel 2.4

Whilist in tre view on an nfs filesystem that was mounted the service went down and \
caused konqueror to crash.

(no debugging symbols found)...0x40e1f519 in __wait4 ()
   from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
#0  0x40e1f519 in __wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
#1  0x40e8f9e4 in __DTOR_END__ () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
#2  0x4061c998 in KCrash::defaultCrashHandler () at eval.c:41
#3  <signal handler called>

by the way what does the first line mean "No debugging symbols"?

Out of interest mc handles this by generating an error saying

xxx exists but can't be stat..ed ...

this i guess is the same point that konqueror falls over.

Thanks Paul
