From: eric () hfriedman ! rdsl ! lmi ! net

Package: khtml
Version: KDE 2.1.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
Look at http://www.clearstation.com/
Note that about half of the GIF images are not renderered.
The images with this problem are served from image-only web servers that do not \
supply a mime type in the HTTP response headers.
Konqueror is configured to associate *.gif with image/gif, and yet URLs that end in \
'.gif' are not treated as images. If I try to save the images to disk, the image \
data is corrupted. The same images work fine if I use LWP GET to fetch them (and xv \
to view them).
