Ok, I had a quick look at that one, since I hacked part of the selection stuff.
The problem is related to determining the node under the mouse. 
It finds the text on the left instead of the table cells, even when clicking on 
a table cell. Probably because the table is before the text in the HTML.
The DOM tree view shows the problem clearly. But the page is too huge
to be debugged.... 

The best way to go for this bug would be to make a test case out of it.
Strip things out as much as possible, so that the bug still exists but
on a much smaller HTML file.

I just don't know if the bug is in the dimensions of the rendering objects,
or in the z-order checks for the mouse events, or....
