Freebsd has no strace command. I have ktrace, but output stays empty
when a trace is attached to all kdeinits. Sorry.

Here is what i see at the console when konqueror is shot down

kdecore (KLibLoader): Deleting KLibrary 0x814ab80  libkonqlistview
kdecore (KLibLoader):  ... deleting the factory 0x814ba40
kdecore (KLibLoader): Deleting KLibFactory 0x814ba40
kio (kioslave): slavewrapper: Communication with app lost. Returning to
slave pool.
DCOP:  unregister 'konqueror-417'
DCOP: number of clients is now down to 0
jfh@fritz:jfh:DCOPServer : slotTerminate() -> sending terminateKDE
signal.
klauncher: KLauncher::process ---> terminateKDE
kdeinit: terminate KDE.

kio (kioslave): slavewrapper: Communication with pool lost. Exiting.
kdeinit: Fatal IO error: client killed
DCOP:  unregister 'kded'
jfh@fritz:jfh:DCOPServer : slotTerminate() -> sending terminateKDE
signal.
DCOPServer : slotTerminate() -> sending terminateKDE signal.

Last line repeats for ever ...
