If I manually launch konqueror via "kfmclient openProfile 
webbrowsing" (example) it loads up and to begin with the
font is horrible looking.  Secondly the menu items double 
up (well, some do)...mainly under window, and the toolbar 
is doubled. (to location bars, 2 spinning KDE logos, etc..)

This happens from command line (kfmclient) or from the 
menu.

Now, if I do a alt-f2 and type in a url, konqueror comes
up fine.

same goes with the Home icon or menu item...if I use it it
comes up looking horrible with double menu items, but if I
do a alt-f2 (or menu item run command) and type in ~/ it
comes up ok.

I thought at first it might be a me problem so I nuked KDE 
totally off my system, built kdelibs, then kdebase, rm 
-rf'd my only ~/.kde dir..and still have the same problem.

I even took out the Debian menu pieces to make sure there 
were no conflictions there.
