If you go to www.kent.edu/students (yes, it's a horrid webpage, but I have to go there often), the sidebar on the left
which has tons and tons of links takes an incredibly long time to render (from 30-60 seconds on a Celeron 366 with plenty of RAM).
Netscape can do it in about half a second.

It appears that it keeps adjusting its rendering, perhaps because of all the little images. But whatever the cause, it SHOULDN'T be that slow.
