Hmmm... from a qucik look at the header response from www.egroups.com,
it looks like the problem is something else which I have to troubleshoot in
depth.  That site sends the message in zipped chunks (Content-Encoding: deflate
and Transfer-Encoding: chunked ).  Anyways, it seems that the code I wrote to
handle the unzipping (inflating) of these zipped chunks is not working correctly ; so
I will take a look at this in a while (hint: will be re-written...)

I have no problems with the TV guide site.  Are you using any specific user-agent
setting ?
