Subject: Bug#16298: khtml parsing of HREF's
From: Jason Ahrens <jahrens () home ! com>
Date: 2000-11-30 15:09:29
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: khtml
Version: 3.0 (KDE 2.0 >= 20001117)
Severity: normal
Compiler: gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (compiled sources)
I don't know if this is in fact valid in HTML, but it seems some sites are doing \
this:
<A HREF="software/mtop50.cfm?sid=""58449520001116220439""&searchtitle=Top%2050%20Monthly%20Downloads">Top \
50 Monthly</A> |
(from http://www.palmgear.com)
khtml stops parsing the above when it hits the second " so the arguments to the cfm \
script never get recognized and sent back when a link is clicked, essentially \
rendering this page useless in Konqueror.
(ie: khtml/Konqueror only sees up to software/mtop50.cfm?sid= )
