Subject: location-history popup is not LRU
Return-Path: <mmutz@emmy.mathematik.uni-bielefeld.de>
X-Orcpt: rfc822;submit@bugs.kde.org

Package: konqueror
Version: 1.9.2 (KDE 1.91 Beta >= 20000608)
Severity: wishlist

The location history popup of konqueror sorts the items by the time they
were typed into it. This leads to the following:

I type a URL that I use daily thereafter. As I view some other sites, the item
corresponding to that URL drops down place by place. Athough I return
regularly to this site, it is still listed below sites that I have only visited once.
After a few days this heavily used entry is dropped from the end of the list.

IMO the popup should use a LRU (least recently used) algorithm to decide
the sequence of sites in the popup.

Marc

(using kleopatra - still :-)
