When opening a directory, I'd prefer that the default window size should be a bit larger than it is. When opening a web URL, I feel the window should be smaller :) Obviously, this is a very subjective thing. I apologize, but it's irritating ;) Thank you very much for producing a top-notch browser, by the way :) Anyways, back to the subject at hand. There's no way to accomodate everyone with hard-coded values, so that's out the window right there. I think there are two options left: having it customizable(ie: in a dialog somewhere), or have Konqueror remember the last window size. I think Konqueror remembering the last window size is probably a bad idea - a mean web page that resizes the window so something absurd(either too large or too small) would be very irritating. So, I think it'd be best to have it as a customizable variable. If you're worried about cluttering up the config UI, and don't want to do this, I understand :) However, if the framework already exists for Konqueror to use a config file, maybe that's a good alternative. Thanks very much for all your work, Dave (submitted via bugs.kde.org)
