Hmm, that's too bad, it would be nice to have a good working smb 
implementation :( But unless something happens the library will not be 
improved bfeore the kde2 release I guess ?

Yes, I know, the problem lies in the negotiation protocol (according to 
Brodu). Somehow NT5 thinks we are a client that doesn't support long 
filenames. I'm looking in to it, but it's been a while for me to be active 
reading lots of code (especially weird smb protocol code :) and actually 
understanding what's happening. But Brodu is willing to help me out, so if  I 
somehow manage to fix some of the problems I noted, I'll let you guys know.
