Hello,

I cannot load cookies at all sites. In particular, I can't load cookies at \
https://websam.ferraretto.com/hosts.php3 and https://olb.westpac.com.au (online \
banking site).

You can try the websam site for yourself. At this site you will be presented with a \
login prompt. Enter anything there and press 'Login'. You will be returned to the \
same page. What should be happening is that the username and passwords get set as \
cookies (WebSAM1 and WebSAM2) and then you should get a 'Login incorrect' message. \
Try it with netscape to compare.

With the westpac site, I can't give you login details but when I do log in, the site \
displays a page saying it couldn't set cookies and gives me instructions on how to \
turn on cookies using Netscape or IE.

The websam site has javascript in it to check that the username is not blank but this \
javascript is not processed even though I have it enbaled under browser settings. I \
also have java enabled but don't get any applets. I downloaded the jdk1.2.2 and \
installed it in /opt/jdk1.2.2. I set the java path to be /opt/jdk1.2.2 but I got \
nothing. I also tried /opt/jdk1.2.2/lib and also got nothing.

Finally, I try to load http://www.commbank.com.au but I get a blank page. I suspect \
that this might be because the site tries to determine which browser I'm using (NS or \
IE) and loads the appropriate page. How can I tell it I'm running one of these two?

Thanks

Mark
