The major deficiency is currently in the FileDialog which doesn't have 
support for a "Save As" combobox to specify the file format. I suggest to add 
a way to pass a list of mimetypes that can be used as "save format". This 
could also be used to specify e.g. the encoding of textfile saved with the 
editor.
