This will happen if you have domain specific policies!!   They will always
over-ride the global settings.  Please make sure that the domain where you
are being asked to confirm cookies from does not have the a specific policy set.

Asking for confirmation and saving cookies are not the same thing :)
Please check to see if there are enteries in $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kcookiejar/cookies.

The problem with Yahoo is a separate issue and I am working to solve it.  It is
probably caused by the fact that we do not send the Referer tag which is going
to be fixed shortly.

BTW,  I cannot duplicate this problem.  If I set konqueror to accept all
cookies it will do so silently ; so any hints( like site where it happened and
what is set in your domain specific policy you can give me to duplicate
this would be appreciated.
