You might have noticed that I put up a call for Konqueror testers: http://www.kde.org/jobs/jobs-open.html Good news: feedback is quite good. 5-6 people mailed be so far indicating their intent to help. Therefore, I can really comment this page as an effective mean of finding volunteers for little tasks. Downside: The job might either be too complex for non-developers (especially those not in close contact with the current CVS development) or I lack the skill (and time!) for detailed explanations. All in all I might redraw the offer in order to avoid frustrating experiences for potential volunteers. Unless someone would like to simply re-word the offer to turn it into something more practical, of course. However, I can read the majority of C/C++ code, since it is fairly similar to Java. I took a look at the list and I can see that there is a mass of bugs, but I would be more than willing to clear that list up a bit by checking into a number of them. Any suggestions on getting a quick start? I was looking for someone who goes trough the bugs reported on bugs.kde.org and checks whether they are still valid or not. Testing should happen with current CVS sources. I'm not anymore sure if that's a feasible thing to do for non-developers, though. Every sort of testing is always very welcome, of course. Harri. --------------7EEAE9314D4587FA9E472F97--
