It seems like it's probably a kHTML proble, but here goes.  when viewing

(I should be ashamed), if I try repeatedly selecting text in the article body 
(nervous habit), eventually konqueror freezes up and starts eating up memory 
like crazy (it got up to 64 meg).  It doesn't crash and dump core, I have to kill 
it manually.  Here's a backtrace after interrupting it during this frozen state:
