Fixed. And a big ooooops from me ;-)

Fixed several other issues with the FTP protocol (this problem came
from the beginnings of implementing a correct handling of timeouts).

Feel free to test the FTP protocol more and tell me if there are still
problems - including with handling of timeouts.
