Oh, of course! You are right.
Anyway I have a bit a problem with disabled menu entries. What does it
help the user if he/she sees "Ah, I could enable this or that column.
But itīs disabled, so I canīt. Why canīt I?" 
But I have much more a problem with useless/empty columns;-)
