I actually quite like the link overlay, and think it looks better than Windows
anyways.  However in Windows, if you use a tool such a Winhacker, you can turn
it off, use the white-box arrow that we are familiar with, use a small grey
arrow, or a larger, more prominant arrow.  This is nice because it allows the
user to change to what they want, and I think that such configurability would
fit nicely in kcontrol.

To be honest, I'd like to see the italics as another option in the same place
to turn off.  I like them, but my roomate hates them when he uses linux because
they are a lot harder to read for him, while the arrow is very easy to
recognize.
