kfmclient in KDE 2.x already supports relative paths (since a few days).

Making it use short-URL support is a good idea, I'm sure Dawit will
do it as soon as it's ready.

Thanks for the suggestions.

BTW we are also thinking of a command line inside konqueror, for
even more integration... No promises though :)
