Package: kfm
Version: 1.167.2.21

I noticed that some files weren't showing up when
I used kfm to access an ftp site, but the were
there when I used a command line ftp client. I
don't know how the ftp client of kfm is
implemented, but if it is wrapping an ftp client,
and parsing its output, it occurred to me that it
may be having problems with columns of text
running together. For example kfm doesn't show
the file "big_file" which is there in ftp:

drwxr-xr-x 2 jgrg informati 512 Feb 11 1999 course

If I type the full path of big_file into the
location bar, then it fetches the file OK. If I
create a new file "bigger_file", then "big_file"
is now visible, but "bigger_file" isn't.
