Then copy some *jpg *gif whatever to this subdir and kfm won't create a subdirectory .xvpics as it normally would do (instead it writes these small thumbnails to it's cache dir). Copy this subdirectory Bilder using kfm to your home directory and kfm will start creating this .xvpics directory as normal.
