Subject: Bug#2304: clicking executable script in kfm hangs desktop
From: david () clem ! lrdc ! pitt ! edu

Package: kfm
Version: 1.167.1.21
When I click on certain executable scripts in a kfm window, the desktop
hangs and I must shut down the window manager. The file that caused the
behavior is a csh script that ends with a read statement (expecting the
user to press return). After left-clicking the file in kfm, the cursor
still can be moved around, but mouse clicks produce no response.
Control-alt-backspace still works, as does control-alt-F1. Switching to a
console window, killing the shell script, and returning to the kde session
does not restore mouse function. kwm has to be killed and restarted.
ctl-alt-backspace and ctl-alt-f1 work unless I first press alt-tab. In
that case, there is then no response to any key combination.
