Still unsure what to do about khtml[w] bugs... ----- Forwarded message from Michael Haeckel ----- Subject: Bug#1987: Crash of X when scrolling through document From: Michael Haeckel To: submit@bugs.kde.org Date: Sat, 18 Sep 1999 22:19:16 +0200 Package: kfm Version: 1.167.2.21 Scrolling through the document qwidget.html from the qt-2.0.1 reference causes a crash of X at a special position at about 1/6 from the end. When scrolling with small steps e.g. with cursor up or down there is nearly 100% security of a crash. But also moving the scrollbar down with the mouse leads almost to a crash. I think that is because the HTML source contains a line with 1137 colums at that position. A bit unusual, but it should not lead to a crash. I use SuSE 6.2, Kernel 2.2.12, KDE 1.1.2 compiled with egcs-2.91.66 and qt-1.44 Michael Häckel ----- End forwarded message ----- -- David FAURE david@mandrakesoft.com, faure@kde.org http://www.insa-lyon.fr/People/AEDI/dfaure/index.html KDE, Making The Future of Computing Available Today
