I cannot get this to work for me.  I get Error 404 ...

This is an illegal URL format.  You cannot have a space inside a URL without
encoding it first !!  This is explicitly stated under RFC 1738 section 2.1
under the heading "Unsafe :".

David, I do not know i we should allow users to type URL's with such illegal
characters and then encode it ourselves i.e call encodeURL() before doing
anything with it.  However, it is against the spec, at least RFC 1738 ...
