Hello,
I have a patch to fix part of Bug #1472. This patch allows KURL to
sucessfully interpret the "weird" URL format ( //www.kde.org ) and hence
correctly handle all problems relating to this issue trasnparently. However, I
am too chicken to commit this into CVS without others testing it. I have tested
it on my system and it has not broken anything yet. Please note that this fix
IS ONLY for the 1_1_BRANCH. AFAIK, this problem does not exisit in the HEAD's
KURL class.
Regards,
Dawit A.
