Subject: Properties for several files/dirs : 3-state checkbox ?

Some time ago, Torben suggested that somebody extends the Properties dialog
boxes to handle several files/dirs at the same time (for instance, to
change the permissions on a group of files in one click, or change the
owner, group ... ) (it could also display the total size in bytes)
Of course, renaming would be disabled, and no date would appear.
The problem is : is it possible to display three-state checkboxes ?
If you select two files, one has write permissions for the group, the other
hasn't, then the checkbox needs to be in a third state - like it happens at
least under Windows. Anybody knows whether Qt 2.0 implements three-state
checkboxes ?
