But what about an integrated mail/news reader? As konqueror is desinged
to use some kind of Universal Directory Service itīs possible to e.g.
display your mail folder tree in the tree view. Then we need two other
windows for messages themself and the message list.

Not flexibel enough:)

The Copy(F5)/Move(F6) problem could be solved with option to combine two
views. Right click on the splitter, choose "Combine". For visual
feedback maybe paint a cilp on the splitterbar.

Btw: I just checked out the qt 2.0. And I donīt see a real difference
between the 2.0 QSplitter and the 1.4x one.
