No problem.  I should point out, though, that what I am doing is
probably a temporary hack.  I am just doing the minimum necessary to
get the clicking working again.  Whoever is doing the refactoring will
most likely want to implement a more complete and more robust system
at some point in the future.  All of that stuff is currently marked
"Todo" in the source code, so I figure he/she has something specific
in mind for it in the future.

That means it isn't really a bug so I won't worry about it right now.
