If you take a look at Dolphin's breadcrumb bar, you'll
notice the widget looks sufficiently different from re-
gular buttons that the risk of someone expecting the
behavior of buttons from them is rather low (clicking
something to activate it is not behavior unique to
buttons, either).

So is the likelyhood of navigating to
"/tmp/foo/bar/tmp/foo", actually - but even then, the
widget indicates a visual hiearchy via the arrow icons,
getting the point across.
