Better place for question would be usability list, but I will
answer here: IMO it is bad solution. Web authors often depend
and design to specific dimensions of page. Of course many things
in KDE are built around "power for the user" principle - and this is
Good Thing(tm) - but this is going too far. Better solution (and
probably easier) would be line vanishing after few seconds. And this
could/should be KDE wide solution (KPDF/oKular, KWord, Kate(?), KDVI,
etc.).
