Sounds good (I think it already has support for showing a mimetype description),
check the KOpenWith constructors.

Only when really unknown (no mimetype file installed for it).
Otherwise you should display the "mimetype comment field",
i.e. something like "Bzip2 archive" from KMimeType::comment().
