It's clearly impossible to make eryone happy on this subject. But
well... The most important thing must surely be to find some technology
name-and-version signature which both Apple/Safari and the KDE/Konqueror
teams can agree on.
(Just trying to avoid a "flamewar". I feel this discussion might have
the potential to evolve into something like that) :-)
