-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Using cvs as of today, konqueror is broken while using an authenticated proxy with a service that also requires a username/pass. Note that this only affects authentication schemes that popup a window, not any "form based" password. To reproduce: Turn on authenticated proxy support for https Go to any https-enabled site, this will work fine (just verifying) Go to http://members.digitalblasphemy.com/ Click on "login", use any random username/password Instead of telling you "bad username/pass", it will say: " An error occured while loading https://secure.digitalblasphemy.com/restricted/login.shtml: Could not connect to host Proxy extproxy at port 8080 " (where extproxy is my https proxy). This occures on any site that asks for a u/p. Obviously, this is bad :-) Unfortunetly, I don't think getting an ethereal log will help much, cuz it's all https :-P I know this stuff is tricky, authenticated proxy was periodically broken through the 2.x line. Here's to hoping this is cleared up by 3.0.1 :-) - -- D.A.Bishop -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8ok8SEHLN/FXAbC0RAqmaAKCyXeLlCFxoUphW3S+rs4WouUyRQACdHgO+ XUdGwtG+B3RzaUSGxV1qSZo= =I/L5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
