I know, some compilers forbid themselves. 
The problem is that experimenting which compiler gives the best results is 
very time consuming. Recompiling whole of QT/KDE and then testing it for few 
days/weeks before some hidden screw-ups show.

Hmmm, so instead of 2.95 downgrade I can as well try upgrade to 3.0.4. How can 
one easily decide on Celeron@500? This is a decision for a lifetime (or so it 
seems when compiling QT).
