Thanks for Your explanation.
I tried it also with Netscape/Linux, Mozilla/Linux and IE6/NT40 and only
the last one displayed the contents of the "scriptlet".

No, the only live link is to the counter page, the main page is totally useless
without this thing working.
  I'll mail the webmaster and ask him to modify its page. I fully agree not to
support every piece of M$ sh*t.
