To reproduce you need to use a slow server. Or, for just testing, ipchains -I input --dport 80 -p tcp -j DENY :-) Might be easier to do than find a slow server if you are on a fast link yourself. Of course there will never be a connection this way, but the wheel should be spinning from the click until the timeout kicks in. Martijn
