though). I am not completely sure here, but I thought 'name' was deprecated in favour od 'id' and 'id' is allowed everywhere. If that is true, then I'd say that we should add this for compatibility reasons to forms and nowhere else. And not support it at all if we are in strict parsing mode. But my recollection of this is a bit too fuzzy to make exact statements - I don't know it exactly myself anymore... Martijn
