Hmmm... 
easy fix but actually not really the problem. 
Does anybody here remember how the next_job business is supposed to
work. I assume this is kind of a crude attempt of a batch processing? 

We should replace that asap with something more stable, then the prj
pointer access could go away and the documentation could be generated
without a project. 

In the meantime, I guess, this is a fix.
