Just by the way, my feeling is, that the "uncrustify" source formatter
is much more advanced than astyle. However, for maintainability
reasons, we should not include any more source formatters directly.
What we really need is good support for "external" formatting scripts,
then we could give a recommendation to use uncrustify for extended
source-formatting needs. The tool
http://universalindent.sourceforge.net/ is very nice to configure the
uncrustify formatter, and can be used to build a simple formatting
shell-script.
