That's interesting.  Some OS caching may be at play here, but I tend to
think this is due to the KMimeType functionality.  The first time the
project was opened, it probably had to actually read some of the files
to determine their MIME type.  Once they had been opened after that, it
may not have had to do this.  I am really not familiar with this code,
but I did have a quick peak in there this past weekend when making these
changes.
