Another nice project is http://tendra.org
Their code is pretty clean -- you couldn't even compare it to gcc, it's so 
much better. I didn't look at how much C++ info you can get out of ANDF, but 
presumably it should be doable to hook up directly into the front end's parse 
tree. I'm working on a port of tendra to Z8 architecture and it's pretty 
slick so far (rationale: couldn't stand Zilog's compiler and their tech 
support).
