Hi,

 I don't remember anymore who asked me from the KDevelop team about our PHP 
debugger plans, so I send this to the devel list. ;-) We have now a general 
interface towards PHP debuggers, and an implementation for the Gubed PHP 
debugger (XDebug may follow) in Quanta. It's not completely a separate KPart 
plugins, but as I saw (I'm not the author) the code uses only very little 
from Quanta internals (some convenient functions, getting the path of the 
current document, getting the debugger configuration options and so), so it 
may be easy to use it as a base for a PHP debugger in KDevelop. If you want 
to look at it, it's in kdewebdev/quanta/components/phpdebug.
