Subject:    Question about 'configure.in.in' magick

Hi,
On the KDevelop site, there is an example of a modification of the configure.in.in 
file to check for a program (On the site, there is an error: a '])' is missign at the
end of line 5 at shown in the mail). I try to use the same syntax to find other files \
that are not programs (that do not have an executable flag), but this time the file \
are not found. Is there a specific command to search for a file which is not \
executable? Thanks
